Antique embossed glass bottle from Qualtrough & Co Ltd, Douglas, Isle of Man.

A genuine early 20th century mineral water / soft drink bottle featuring the iconic Three Legs of Man emblem to the front. Qualtrough & Co were a Douglas-based aerated water manufacturer supplying soda, lemonade and other mineral drinks to the island during the late 19th and early 20th century, making this a nice piece of local Manx industrial history.

These embossed bottles were used before paper labels became standard, helping identify the maker and origin, and were often returned and reused.

Condition:

• Good overall antique condition 

• Strong, clear embossing 

• Some age-related marks and light surface wear 

• Possible Hairline crack to base (see photos) – stable and does not affect display
